Well, it looks like the groundhog may have lied about an early spring, however as I write this message I can't help but notice the weather does seem to be improving.
We have our spring work days set up as follows: Saturday, April 20th, 2019 9am and Saturday, May 4th, 2019 9am. Also please note, Dave Kellstrom is having a mandatory dock work days for all members who use the docks; this includes our sail dock. On Saturday April 6th and Saturday April 13th at 9am. You should attend at least one if not both and bring your tools.
I am very happy to report our membership is on the rise. When you see new faces around the club, please make our new members feel welcome.
Donna, Lisa and Vicky, our social committee, already have plans for this year. They did an amazing job last year as far as Friday night bar dinners and Saturday night dinners. Last year will be hard to top, but I'd bet this year will be even better.
Please also remember that anyone who has a slip or uses our sail dock and beach area for their watercraft must have a copy of their insurance declaration page on file before the boat can be put on the dock or on the beach. Please send or email to Karen Kreckel (firstname.lastname@example.org).
I am sure everyone knows by now that Eleanor Kornmann has been fighting cancer. Thank you to all who has reached out to her during this tough time. As we all know she is one tough lady, and if anyone can kick cancer's butt, it will be Eleanor! Please continue praying for her and Heinz.
I hope everyone had a safe and healthy winter season, and as always, I can't wait to see everyone around the lake and at the club!
